Gmail support in FireGPG is half broken for a while. (you can check out getfiregpg.org/s/gmailstatut for its current status)

Skip, you can use gpg4win with your Outlook (version 2.0.2 is buggy)

The fact that Mailcloack is a proprietary software is enough reason for me for not to try it. E-mail encryption must be open source to be meaningful.

The easiest way I’ve found to secure email is the Voltage Security Network. It's great because all I have to do is click a “send secure” button to send encrypted email and I can also send to anyone. Not to mention anyone I send to can reply securely without any software.

Why would you use FireGPG when you can use MailCloak

MailCloak is faster, easier, and integrates with more webmail services. And you don't have to install GPG separately. Also, MailCloak does all key management automatically.

Get MailCloak at http://www.getmailcloak.com or http://www.gwebs.com/mailcloak.html
